About Me
Hi! I’m Meghann - bag maker, fabric hoarder, fandom obsessor, & homeschool mama to 4.
I’ve been sewing fairly consistently for about 16 years. As a Fashion Merchandising major in college, we were required to take several introductory sewing classes, and I fell in love. When my daughter was born soon after, I found the newly forming custom fabric world on Facebook. I started sewing cloth diapers, which progressed to clothing, and eventually backpacks and purses. I’ve enjoyed trying my hand at other crafts over the years, but sewing is my true passion, and I love the creative design process that comes alongside of making bags. I continue to use custom fabric & hardware from small artists on all of my bags, which means when you purchase an item from Little Gem Craft Studio, you’re not only helping support my dreams, but the dreams of many small business owners.
